Research questions

This is really what research should be about - asking questions! I found today that Mary Philipse was accused of treason with two other women during the American Revolutionary War - but I am having trouble finding any particulars about them. So this is a question to research ... and either I can find the answer easily in a book OR there is no such book and I can write it. That is how it is supposed to work.
